1st National PIL Drafting Competition

Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is one of the most indispensable parts of the Indian Legal System. The National PIL drafting competition aims at giving the budding mind of the legal fraternity an opportunity to understand the practical dynamics of PIL. The objective of the Competition is to improve and deepen the level of analytical and critical thinking by involving the participants in some real-life practical problems. The participants would be required to draft one PIL memorial on any one of the given propositions.

1st National Memorial Drafting Competition

Moot courts have always been a classic part of legal education in India. However, most of the times in a moot court competition, all the credit is given to the speakers alone and somewhere the importance of a high quality memorial is shadowed. Thus, to highlight the importance of Moot memorials, The “L” Word feels privileged to announce its 1st National Memorial Drafting Competition for the budding law students all over India.
